My beautiful cousin Ailbhe got married in December and I had the honour of making her mum, Marians, hat for the wedding. Marian had an amazing pink wool dress made and a little cape style detachable collar, her gloves and bag, from my favourite designer Paula Rowan, allowed us to introduce some nice autumnal tones with feather detail. The hat was an elegant side sitting disc with the same pink wool underlay as dress and a rich velvet mix outer layer. The feathers were a stunning collection of Argus Pheasant along with others mixed in for depth. We were both really happy with the finished headpiece and I thought she looked absolutely stunning on their special day.
