At the recent wedding of my friends Luke and Christina i decided to wear a magenta Niamh O’Neill wool skirt as the weather in Ireland was still a little blustery. I teamed the skirt with an ivory flower applique Coast top, ivory blazer, nude shoes and a pale gold YSL clutch. For my hat i decided to make the base in an ivory weave mix with cream sinamay, i mixed ivory small roses with deep pink roses and magenta swirls. The disc hat was dramatic and the two tones of pink and ivory brought the colours of my outfit all together. I loved wearing a big hat at a wedding for a change as i tend to usually wear smaller pieces and i think the drama of the piece made the right statement at such a stylish wedding. Congratulations Luke and Christina! Xx
